CB At the Bar

SOOO Yesterday was my day off and I slept in a bit. Not really feeling tired at 10pm last night so I headed to the Bar for ONE martini and then was headed home When I ran into Freddie From the Cornelia Marie and his Wonderful Wife Vanessa. They are just SUCH a great fun couple that I ended up hanging out with them till the Bar closed. Vanessa is a former Bartender at the now gone "Elbow Room" in it's heyday so you know what great stories she can tell. They are just Awesome people. (And smart enought to take a cab home!)
The NW boys showed up a little bit later with Jake as desginated Driver. He drank Decaff and soda all night and actually came over and talked to Freddie for over an hour. Good Plan. It gets the DD away from his core group of friends that might allow him to slip and have a drink or two. I am actually proud of his fortitude in the face of everyone who tried to buy him a drink. He is also really nice and quite funny. I actually have alot more respect for him after meeting him last night.
It is Amazing that the Camera caught this Phenonomen. I thought it was the Martini, German Beer (Which I introduced Freddie to) and the shots of Goldschlager that were making the other members of the Time Bandit and the NW crew look like this!! Evidently the phenonomen was island wide as it looked the same when I walked back to my apt and got into bed. Strange stuff in Dutch Harbor.

Ok, I am off to City Hall for that Award Ceremony mentioned in the Katherine's Cape Blog.

    K im safe no post 13 for me. I can see Norm, Nick, Jake, Edgar, John and Im guessing Scotty. Edgar you can only see part of his head...its directly under Johns. Can you let us know if we are close CB!

    Oh, and you said the "NW guys" showed up at the bar - Kim has put a peg on all except Matt and Sig. Let's see - Matt, is he even there? And Sig, well go figure - we know where he is.....LOL! Tell us CB or is this a game?
