Winter Walk....Ice sickles......Sea Glass.....and A tummy ache

So CB is home today with that "Tummy Ache" that is going around town. Ugghhh. I hate being sick. Went to work this morning and then came right home. Slept till 4pm AST and feel a bit better. Thought I would "Show Off'" (CD's Words) my Seaglass finds from the other night, and the continuing "Icing" of Bunker Hill.

Oh, And Sorry, once I got out there I realized I had Left my Camera at the office so all of these are taken with my I-Phone.

It's hard to believe that just a few months ago CD's Son Dills was Climbing up this rock face........

........and way out on those Rocks I took my "Benneton Unalaska" shot with Dills, MS, Juno and Junior.

CD was Unable to take a walk on tuesday night so all the Sea Glass Was MINE MINE MINE!!!

This one was so big and so pretty I thought at first it was Ice. Nope, just Brilliant!!

And then The Greatest Find of the night, a Nearly perfect Sphere of Blue.

Really large pieces........and I left plenty of Small ones behind.

Ok, it's time for "So You Think You Can Dance" so I am outta here for the night!

Most people do not know this but I watch Nancy Grace every day. When I lived and worked in Florida I had the privilege to meet this wonderful woman and her children when they stayed at my Hotel. She is just Amazing, and the nicest person you would ever want to meet. I think everyone is aware of all the recent child killings across our Country. especially in the South, most noteablely Florida. I have been sickened by all of these, Haleigh Cummings, Caylee Anthony and all the Rest. But when I turned on the television this afternoon and saw that the police had found the body of Little Shaniya it really got to me. When I heard the Details I became physically Ill.....then I got Angry. (Mum, Stop Reading Now)

Lord, whose ways are beyond understanding, listen to the prayers of your faithful people:that those weighed down by grief at the loss of this little child may we find reassurance in your infinite goodness.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Sunday Brunch, Cornelia Marie news and pictures, Jeff's Hair, and a Bunker Hill walk with VIDEO!!!

It's a Cold, Windy (Gusts to 50mph) Day up Dutch Harbor way..........
........And the snow looks like it is here to stay!
But in the brief "pockets" between storm waves there is still time to play!!
In DC news the Cornelia Marie started their Last offload of the '09 King Crab season at 6:30AM AST, Much too Early for CB!!!
At about 8:30 AM before work began I was able to get over and give Freddie a big Hug!!!

He looks so Exhaused!!! But I know a little time with Vanessa and he will be just fine!!! Maybe next week I can get the two of them over here for Brunch!!!

I know they would both like the Blueberry pancakes..........

...........Freddie would go for the Salmon........

........And Vanessa for the Peppercorn Chicken!

In other news Jeff, one of my favorite chefs, FINALLY came into the 21st Century and chopped 15" of hair off!!! This great guy then Donated it to "Locks of Love".

It really makes him look MUCH cuter!!! He is Single, Straight and Stable Girls!!! Now that his hair is not in the way It will be easier for CB to hook him up with a lovely lady!! (Taking Applications in my e-mail)

The Smoothies are Nummy today.........

And the Dessert table is just covered with tasty Treats!!

Especially the Pumpkin Creme Brulles!!

I always find it odd that we see more "Blue" Skies in the Wintertime than in the Summer.......

.........though it is usually in the Lull between storms.

So in the Lull between the storms yesterday I decided to climb Bunker Hill and Check out the Start of the "Freezing"

It was pretty when I began my trek yesterday.......

...........and on the "Front" side of Bunker Hill the Sun was shining.

Looking out towards the Bering Sea though it seemed another storm was soon to be rolling in.

Still is was beautiful as I walked the road towards Captains Bay.............

........Looking down at Westward Seafoods where the Wizard and Lisa Marie "offload"

Pyramid Sure looks different than when you were here JS and AU!!

Rounding the Corner and turning back up too look at the Bay I noticed the Storm had moved A LOT closer!

In Fact I think Mr Otter was laughing at me!!

And though I picked up my pace I knew I would be an idiot to climb Bunker Hill and so decided to take the "beach" route back to my place.

When I rounded the Final "corner" to my place I knew I would not beat the storm coming in so I should just Slow down and Enjoy it!!!

Though "enjoy" may not be the correct word to use...............
Anyway though Made it home safe. and have some cool shots and Videos that I want you all to see!! (Blogger is being good today and letting my upload nicely)
