Cornelia Marie Update 2-9-9




The Cornelia Marie is not doing any of this Right Now!!



They were supposed to leave St Paul today at noon, but remain trapped in the harbor by ice!!



The storm that hit here yesterday hit them overnight, resulting in a very bumpy ride for them and quite a few other boats in that islands harbor.



ALL Harris Fans need to be sending warn thoughts and prayers up towards St Paul!!!

    I spoke with Phil last night..The ice has been a real pain in their backside this season. Sending warm thoughts and a safe trip back to Dutch.

    Thanks for the updates CB! Everyone was complaining how cold it was here in South Florida for a couple of days last week(it hit a low of 37 F) I wish they could see what you guys have to muddle thru. I am truly sorry that Phil and the CM crew are having so much trouble with the ice! They deserve better! I pray the weather improves dramatically for all those in that part of the world!

    Well, it sounds like all the cute guys are up to their bums in ice! It is not only annoying for them, but somewhat dangerous from what I have read (Working on the Edge, a good read I recommend highly).     As for everyone else, I am just super busy. The DC people are cool with me and I with them. ANY info I pass along is suff that I find out on my own, not by being around the hotel or following them. If I did not go and get the info my self it would just be like cheating!! No Fun!!!

    The CM finally made it back to town BTW. Maybe Some Pics Tomorrow.

    CB is very respectful with the information he passes on. While working in the hotel we become privy to many details that while juicy, must be kept to ourselves. He could easily be a douche and pass all of this on, but alas- that's not how he rolls.
