So, With CD Abandoning me, AG and Alena! I headed out to the Bar with Freddie and Vanessa on Sunday night. Soon Vanessa who knows EVERYONE was introducing me to the Crew of the New boat on Deadliest Catch, The F/V Lisa Marie! (Here she is with the Hungarian Guy on the Ship, who Shaved his beard since filming.)
And Here is Wade Henley, the Captain of the Lisa Marie. Had a really great talk with him about fisheries issues. The Ship is up here going out for Black Cod, which is fetching a nice price this year. All the guys were great and in good spirits.
Some of them had not seen the episode yet since they were in transit to come up here but they all broke out in smiles when they saw themselves on the show for the first time. (Vanessa and I had our friends send up a cheer the first time they appeared onscreen, and I think a few of them Blushed!!) As I said before a great bunch of guys!
Ended up hanging out till closing with all of them an the Crew of the F/V Alaskan Trojan, who are good friends of Freddie and Vanessa.

CB love the pictures of the Lisa Marie (Itty Bitty)crew. They are a great new boat with loads of personality. I like watching them. Sounds like you had a great evening and are getting to meet some wonderful people.

Is Wade Henley now the new skipper for the F/V Lisa Marie?????
If my memory is right, I think worked with him on the F/V Glacier Enterprise with "Febo."
I also worked on the F/V Alaskan Enterprise, F/V Pacific Wind, F/V Pacific Lady, F/V Artic Orion, F/V Artic Discovery, F/V Glacier Enterprise, and the F/V Bristol Storm which sank in 1996 Bristol Bay King Crab Season.
I am only 47 years old and I am a former amateur and professional kickboxer and I am still in great shape and want to go crabbing again!
