...back to the smiling faces of friends........(Smile for CD Junior!!) And just darn good food!! The above salad is a masterpiece Rich!
I'm also glad to be back to a place where BACON IS CRISPY!!! If I never see another piece of back bacon barely cooked again, Part of the traditional English Breakfast, It will be too soon. Now, Don't get me wrong, for the most part I had very good food on my trip, but breakfast was usually included in my hotels and the novelty wore off quick.
A Mushroom and Cheese omelet with lots of crispy bacon and an Apple/Cranberry Crepe is enough to make me smile today!!
The Pork looks good as well........
....and so does the fish, though with Shrimp on it CB can't touch it. Looks great though!
And Finally, what we REALLY come to Brunch for, The Desserts!!!
Not much else to say today. The "Boys" are getting back to town with the Northwestern and the Wizard already in. I believe the Cornelia Marie arrives tomorrow, and The Time Bandit will show up sometime. I am still recovering a bit from Jet Lag so I did not go for a walk last night like I normally do, just sat around doing Laundry, Junior came over for a bit to look at photos, and I caught up on some TV shows I had taped. Tossed an turned all night even though I am exhausted, Maybe better luck tonight. This jet lag sucks!!!
See you all later!!

CB brunch was awesome the salad was killer. It takes me a couple of days to get over jet lag. I hope you have a better restful night tonight.

Stay healthy and get rest for jet lag!!
Donna
It all looks great CB! The jet lag will end soon. Enjoy watching the boats arrive!
Good to have you and Sunday brunch back, CB. The food looks wonderful like always.
Jet lag is brutal! Try melatonin if you can't sleep again tonight. Glad you are home safe and sound.
The brunch today looks amazing! Wish I was there to join you for a beverage and a nice meal.
Hugs!
Welcome home CB - It's great to have you back!
So glad to see you back home CB. Thanks for the update! HUGS. Love the brunch pics, the one I have to email you about. YUMMY!
Oh- the salmon WAS good! Sorry you had to miss it. And I totally dug the fig and blue cheese salad. Sometimes working brunch isn't all that bad...
T
welcome home!!! :D Great to know you're back!!!!
Food looks soooo good... I might just have to plan a trip over just to be there for a Sunday!!! :D We're supposed to go up to ANC for my 1st ultrasound end of the month, hopefully travel on a Sunday ;) We'll probably bring our new lil girl with us and leave the boy's home though.... :( can't bring them all!
Dante, Cali and Roscoe send their love!!!
Again WELCOME HOME!!!
Hi C.B.!
I read that you didn't care for the 'almost raw' bacon popular on the Other Side of the Pond. Actually, it has been thoroughly cooked, its just that they boil it in stead of frying it the way we do here. How did you like the coffee there? That's not like ours either!
CB!!! miss you...thanks for the kid pic...it's been a week since we left, missing the kids...i hear they were at the buffet with grandma! We get a buffet every morning....I love all-inclusive resorts! 10 or 11 more days until we can walk again...
I love this blog! Thanks for the updates about DC. I'm sorry about the jet lag - I've experienced it myself. A nice hot shower and some melatonin may help you to get some rest.
Have a good one!
:)
So glad you enjoyed your European adventure! I am equally glad you made it home safely Brian...
Missed the brunch. (dang it) I got busy and forgot the time. Will be there this coming Sunday for sure. Window seats next to Mystic if she's attending.
I'm submitting the Stonehenge photo wearing your CM shirt to http://www.corneliamarie.com. Morgan is looking for models wearing CM wear.
HUGS,
Helen
Awesome pictures CD. Have the Europeans caught on with ice in drinks yet or is that still hard to find.
Glad you're home! Got to catch up on your blog.........:-)
Thanks for the Monday brunch, CB.
I'm with the "jet lag sucks" fan club. I did the Europe (Madrid then London then back to Pacific Time) when I was a mere child of 15 and it took me a good week to deal with it. Heck, I'm such a wuss, I was useless for about 3 or 4 days dealing with the time difference between Toronto and California nine years ago.
It's the worst part of travel, but I guess ya gotta pay for having a good time somehow other than emptying your wallet ... :)
Say hi to the DC guys, and I'm hoping for a profitable and safe King crap season for each of 'em.
Glad to see ya back..
The food looks great as usual...
Gotta come out just to enjoy a week of taking in DC and the meals
