After a Disgustingly Offensive joke last week, and an attempt to make light of it in the same week, The Scum pictured bellow has FINALLY apologized for his joke about the rape of Governor Palin's Daughter.
You know Mr Letterman, I watched you all the time when everyone else was watching Leno. I thought you should have gotten the show instead of Leno, and even followed your move to CBS. I will NEVER watch you again. You and the rest of the Obamabots can't find anything of Value to attack Sarah Palin with, Just like the the Main Street Media during the election, so you go after her family. How Pathetic and Cowardly. And your attempt to make light of the joke later in the week just added insult to injuy. Pathetic. Retire already.

Mr Letterman is so terribly past the point of caring about anything he might say, insulated as he is by his millions and millions of dollars, he could quit tomorrow and be rich as Croesus.
Mr Letterman and his ilk are completely insulated from reality, the reality that you and I face every day: rising gas prices, utilities going up, grocery prices escalating, taxes skyrocketing, unimagineable debt, tight if any credit, layoffs looming, fewer hours of work available, demotions.
He is, clearly, simply scum as you point out.

I don't know if you check your email however I know you check your comments, so I wanted to ask: you are a Hotel Manager right? It's totally off subject and random, but I work for a stone carving company down here in Ketchikan, and we make some rather large custom pieces (from marble, serpentine, jade, etc.) and we'd love to see them in hotels and used in other interior design. So, to be more on topic. I agree... it seems that people are OBSESSED with Obama, and love to bash Palin. Honestly, I would not have voted Obama for several reasons I don't really wish to go into. However, he is president so I support him, but it seems people just blindly vote for something that "sounds" good. And in supporting Obama a large majority of people like to bash the opposing side with comments and remarks that have no real value. I think it's stupid.
Uh .. yeah .. I'm not touching this one with a 10-foot pole. It would be too exhausting. :-)
Okay .. I lied. So, Letterman can't make jokes, but Limbaugh can say whatever he wants. And, he's SERIOUS.

I stopped watching Letterman because of this. I thought his apology was too little to late. His joke was not only poor taste but very offensive. IMHO Governor Palin had a very dignify and classy response to Letterman's apology.

I have never been a fan of Letterman..I think his researchers should have done a better job and that Mr Letterman owed the Gov and her family an immediate and complete apology...and frankly Arod can't be too thrilled either....
THe Gov has been alot nicer than I would have been given the circumstances...she is a true lady...
Letterman should fire his writers, stat!
And Palin should keep her mug outta the spotlight if she wants to wrap her children in a blanket of anonymity.
Take shots at politicians all you like, they're in the public eye. Take shots at entertainers all you like, they're in the public eye and BETTER PAID. But leave the KIDS out of it, on ANY side.

I live in America where free speech and leader bashing is a deep held cherished right and responsibility. Russia, China, Iran, etc. are the countries were leader bashing is discouraged. Seems to me that Jesus did quite a bit of leader bashing..ummmm
