Some of the most beautiful flowers are in full bloom right now, I love the intricate vein pattern on the petals of this one.
The Little Ground Squirrels are racing around getting fatter and fatter as they prepare for winter.
I was Hiking Little South America the other night and got a few shots of the Westward Facility from a different angle. This is a little closer to the View the Guys from the Wizard http://www.crabwizard.com/ get when they drop off Crab at their processing plant. See you soon guys!!!
The Next few shots are of the New Small Boat Harbor. Usually I do not see it from this vantage point........
......
........but from here. You can see the progress they have made over the past few months....
......pretty cool. In fact there are now even two signs up at the point where I usually take my photos.! LOL
This Jellyfish was sorata "Beached" in the tide pool and was just cool to take some photos of.
I love pictures of flowers surving and thriving in harsh Conditions like this.
You all are probably so Sick of Bunker Hill, but I can not help it. I love this hike.
Flowers framing the Bright red of the Unalaska Publicc Safety Building in the background.

What is Elderhostel? (Taken from the Website)

We believe learning is a lifelong pursuit that opens minds and enriches lives. We believe sharing new ideas, challenges and experiences is rewarding in every season of life. Our participants come from every walk of life to learn together, to exchange ideas, and to explore the world.
Well This group of people, From Alaska, OK, NC, CT, and other places all wanted to know more about Dutch Harbor/Unalaska. Just a Fabulous group of people and I had a blast showing them what else but my favorite place....The Beaches of Bunker Hill!!! LOL
I first introduced them to Hunting for BeachGlass /Sea Glass. I have turned several of them into total addicts. CD and Lauri, it may be a while before "Glass Beach" recovers..............
After our initital hunt everyone got together to examine our treasures.
I FINALLY found a red piece!!! And a marble. Others had various levels of success, but everyone found something.!!
Once we began our trek again it was not long before the friendly Puffin family made themselves known and posed for pictures up on the Cliff Face. Thank you Puffins. CB will be sure to leave some extra treats out for you on his walk today!!
I climbed this when my sister was here as well, and this time I had several brave Elderhostel folks join me........
Up on Lion's Rock!! (I don't know if there is another name for it locally, it's just what I call it)
Once we made it all the way around we decided to head out to the "Spit" Dock. But not before a quick stop on Ballyhoo above the Airport to watch the Grunman Goose take off!!
Out on the Spit we must have seen 20-30 of these perfectly clear Jellyfish all over the Spit.
Not much out at the Spit ..........But at least I finally have my "Red Piece" of Sea Glass!!!
Finally, near the beginning of the week we had a Russian Coast Guard Ship make Port in Dutch Harbor/Unalaska.
Unfortunately, I did not have my good camera on me, only my I-Phone.
Anyway though, I have Laundry to do and an Apartment to Clean. And I a still Recovering from Vanessa's Party Last night. I'll have photos in the next day or so.
Have a great Day everyone!!!
