The SECOND one is from "The Stolen Earth" Three Part Crossover series that shows what Jack was up to between the First and Second Seasons of Torchwood. Close but not identical, which is why I did closeups! ;-P
On the way to the Castle we walked through Saint David's (No Relation to my Hotel) Shopping Area. it stretches for blocks around the Castle and Millenium Statium.
Got some great gifts there for People.......Awesome jersey for Dills and Maybe something for Manderzz.......
And then the Castle appears........
This is the Norman Keep, one of the oldest parts of the Castle Apart from the Original Roman Fortress.
It's a good climb to the top......
But once you get up there and have a fantastic View of the City you can see why Torchwood Filmed up here for the one episode where John Took Jack here to show him the bombs erupting all over the city.
AND THIS was taken Right when I called you Mum!!
Down in a protected part of the castle they still have the original Roman embankments. Pretty cool.
How can you not love a place that has the Red Dragon on it's flag?
As the Sun Sets on my last night in Cardiff I have mixed feelings. Yes, I am looking forward to London and Paris, but I have really enjoyed my time in the Welsh Capital, and do not want to leave.......
The Food, attractions......
.......People, Architecture.......
....way of life, attitude.......
........and just the Energy that this city has is amazing. What I would not give to Skip that night in Edinburgh for one more day here...........
Especially at my Beautiful Hotel. The Saint David Hotel and Spa and Cardiff. I am already planning a return trip for NEXT fall. That is how great this place is.
Off to Stonehenge and London Tomorrow. May not post until late evening my time....afternoonish for the rest of you,
Have a Great Day

WOW! CB, great photos! Sounds and looks like you are having a fantastic time. Makes up for that "hovel" you stayed at in the beginning????
I'm so glad you have enjoyed your stay in Cardiff. Stonehenge won't take you long to see; Bath isn't far from there if I remember correctly, you should drive over if you have time. The Roman Baths are not to be missed!
Be safe, and enjoy!
Hugs,
Mystic
