To the Grounds of the Louve there are now Little Pieces of Dutch Harbor/Unalaska. Now, Every time I see these places on the News or in a show, film, or TV series I can get a little Chuckle as I think of that Little piece of Alaska being there. It's the Gift that keeps on Giving!!!
I have a Literal TON of photos to post about my trip. Can not quite decide how to do it. Should I go Day by day or specific Themes? Let me know!!

What a great idea CB! Only you could think of that! I too will think of Dutch HArbor when I see those places from now on! Thanks for the wonderful pictures. I think you should post a bit each day!
I love that you put a piece of Dutch Harbor in each of those places...your suitcase must have weighed a ton on the way over...glad you had a good vacation...
HEHE yeah Im gonna think about that when I see these places or read about them. You are too funny CB. Just do what you do with pictures they always come out great.
You are a hoot! I've been reading your blog for months! That is just awesome. I usually pick up rocks from my jaunts around the world. I never thought to take those from home and leave around on my trips! Keep up the good Unalaska Tourism/Public Relations going!
Incredible idea CB!
LOL! That was such a GREAT idea! I love it. Thanks so much for sharing it!! :-D
I like that CB! I usually take a rock back from where I visit. I've got plenty from AK. LOL! I'll have to bring a little piece of Alabama next time. What a neat idea!
As far as posting, anyway you'd like would be fine. :)
the "glass trail" is a great idea. I liked the Achilles Heel statue and the Edinburgh Castle. The trip to Paris was a surprise too.
Hope the Grand survived without you. CD is in Cabo now I am sure you know wonder if she brought sea glass too???
Donna
Great idea, CB! Your bag must have weighed a ton on the trip over! So what was your favourite part of the trip? Could you even narrow it down to just one place/day? Get some rest - you've earned it!
Awesome idea CB leaving a little piece of Dutch Habor every where you went. So glad your trip was great. Anyway you want to share your pictures would be great. Your adventures on your trip was such fun to read about.
Like a few of the other commenters here, I always bring a piece of THEM back with me....never thought to leave a piece of ME with them...LOL
Great photos, and commentary!
I have often taken small rocks or shells, but have never left any. Shame on me, and kudos to you! I hope nessie pays you a visit soon!
HUGS!

I think it's very sweet and very thoughtful and I am honored to be in on the secret.
I quite like the idea of Nessie coming on over to Dutch Harbor. At least it's large enough to stay out of crab pots!
(The mental image of Captains Phil or Sig seeing something like that pop up on his deck is priceless! Edgar would probably make it into some sort of Norwegian soup ... )
hehe I knew about this...we better get more at Lauri's beach when I get back!
