So I am packing up smartly, cleaning the Apartment, and waiting on the Cornelia Marie to Come in Tonight or tomorrow. I SHOULD be able to get out of here on Saturday and still have a whole day in Seattle on Sunday before I fly to Pennsylvania on Monday. PLUS I get to see the CM guys Before I leave. (And Maybe get a picture of a Certain Cake Vanessa is having "the store that shall not be named" make for the birthday boys, PLUS Jake Pictures to make GbBarb Quiet down!! LOL)
So, Besides seeing Family and friends and all that, What else am I looking Forward To?
Domino's Buffalo Chicken Kickers!!
Long John Silvers Chicken with Lots of Malt Vinegar!
Arby's French Dip and Swiss!
And Wendy's Jr Bacon Cheeseburgers!
I REALLLYYYYY did not eat fast-food all that much when I lived in the lower 48. In fact I tried not to eat it at all. But after 6 months without it...........yeah, you get that craving. I really also need to try out that new Tosty Torpedo from Quiznos since I love the commercials so much. It is kinda cruel to see the commercials for all this stuff on TV all the time and have no access to it. I also need to eat at Hoss's (A PA Steakhouse Chain) and Outback. Oh, And Olive Garden, Cheesecake Factory, and Burger King Breakfast Crossants, Oh, And Dunkin Donuts Sandwiches.
Basically just about everyplace EXCEPT McDonalds. I just do not like McDonalds. Not at all. Not even a little.
Anyway though, Better go check on my laundry and finish Packing.

CB - you have my prayers that you get out of DH and have a great trip! It sounds as if you are really looking forward to it. Wave when you fly over.

CB I know just how you feel! When we went to Wyoming last year I was craving Sonic because they don't have those here in Mass. Anyway have a great vacation!

Nearest Sonic is well over a 5 hour drive from my house! and we get the commercials nonstop! Dont get sick eating all that junk food CB!

that's not fair posting those pics.... making me crave all that crap now too!! sucks not being able to have access to any of that good 'ole fast food!!
People in the states should be happy to have access to all that stuff... shoot they got a Subway in Valdez and it never did that great.. maybe for the first couple months... but fast food places can't last out here for long! Hell they had a KFC and burgerking in AC at one time!!
and yeah they charge your first born to change your ticket.. it's outrageous!! safe traveling, much luv to ya!!

Silly CB! I wonder if that fast food will even taste as good as you remember? Long John Silver -ughhhh compared to the seafood here???? ecchhh. I used to like Arby's but it tastes so fake and salty and the buns are soooo cheap. I avoid it all --ok maybe not McFlurries. My poor kids I ask for a lot of bites!!
Wow! That's a lot of good (bad) stuff CB! I know what you mean about craving those things you can't often get. I see all the food possibilities in trips home and in certain destinations I love. Enjoy!
I never really thought fast food was something to be "missed" but now I know. I do it maybe 2x a year - that craving that I must satisfy. NOW I could show you some really good, original food by me if you were out this way in PA.

OK Bro, guess we are going to DuBois, PA for all those restaurants! Wendy's is the only one in St. Marys. Outback is in St. College. And of course you have to come to Fox's Pizza where I can finally make a pizza for you! After all the Chef Boyardee pizzas you made for me!

I totally can understand the "fast food" craving, but geeze...imagine all that weight gain from all that bad food. OK, so we in the lower 48's are spoiled because we can go anytime - yeah, but I refrain and if I do go, usually eat a salad. Now, the McD's fries are the best and do occasionally have to have those, but have to agree - I stay away from McD. The only one I frequent is Chic-Fil-A because my daughter loves it so. Oh, and when I'm on vacation, my rule is absolutely no fast food or chain restaurant. And I'm with you CD - I would so love to have your seafood available to me here in FL!
we use salmon and halibut like others might use chicken or hamburger..everyday boring dinner 'cause there is a lot of it to use up --especially this time of year. He'll be catching more soon...must clean out the freezers. Fast food is too salty and greasy!
But....poor CB the weather sounds awful today!! Very windy I sure hope it's better tomorrow!!!!!
