Burger King In DuBois PA Down for Three Weeks....Perkins Destroyed!!

My Old Hangout of Perkins in DuBois PA was destroyed in a fire on the 23ed. For those of you who do not know what a "Perkins" is Follow the link.
http://www.perkinsrestaurants.com/
They are like a Higher end "Denny's" with an Awesome Bakery in each Restaurant.
Especially Their Cream Pies.......

If you only knew how many nights I had spent in that Restaurant when I lived down there, Drinking the Endless pots of coffee with friends and Playing "Vampire The Masquerade" Role playing game....
Anyway though You might be able to see through the smoke the blue roof of the Buger King Next door.
Yup, the same Burger King where My sister and I had our Crossiants that one morning of Shopping. I guess it is now closed down for three weeks due to water damage, because the Firemen had to keep spraying it with water to stop it from going up in flames!!
Not a happy day in DuBois PA!!

Wow good thing you got to go when you went home. I would hate it if the one here was closed no whoppers for a time serious withdrawals LOL.

Oh wow. I heard about that on the news the other day. That really stinks. On a side note: I didn't realize you guys still had Riverside. I loved that place, until they were taken over by BiLo, I think it was.

Burger King can call up ServPro and have that place cleaned up in a jiffy! But water damage can be, yes, pretty nasty.

No One was hurt but they did have to evacuate 22 people from Perkins.

The Riverside Bilo is the company headquarters Warehouse I believe. And Yeah, I agree it was much better as Riverside!!

I had to use Serv-Pro in Flordia when a tropical storm came through and flooded a bunch of my hotel rooms by blowing rain in under The AC units. Great Company but PRICEY!! $22,000.00 to get those 60 rooms back up in a week.

Yeah, I am addicted to the Breakfast sandwiches
And Sis
You have everyone back home behind you to help make that right!! (And your big Bro is getting you a vacation to look forward too!!)

Oh man that bites! I love Perkins...they have the best muffins too!! I loved their breakfast burrito...And yes their pies are very good...but I stay away from those...Fires are so awful...we have been dealing with a lot of wildfires here in Florida..You remember how this time of year can be CB???..dry..windy..no rain..so far the ones around me have caused no loss of businesses, homes or people..I feel for the wildlife though..especially in the everglades which have been taking a real beating.

I do NOT miss the Smoke from those fires either Cinarte!! Darkening the skies and just making evrything Nasty!! Is it Lovebug season yet?

Oh great I had forgotten about the lovebugs...did you have sand gnats where you were in Florida...

Hey CB, Do you guys up there have any different spring bugs? Right now we have black flys and when they bite boy it's nasty. I love the good weather, but I hate the bugs.

Sorry about the Perkins I like their muffins too :(

A few love bugs are just starting to show up...they are a pain..and sand fleas I have yet to have a problem with but I am about 4 miles from the ocean. My girlfriend who lives beach side on the intercoastal waterway has more of a problem than I do. You know you can actually buy screening for your lanai that is supposed to be able to keep the little buggers out! Costs a lot but if you live on the beach you can afford it! Yeah the wild fires are no fun...its so nice here now that we have a few weeks left to have our windows open before the heat and humidity arrives but when the fires were burning all you smelled was smoke...no fun!!

I'm in a love-hate relationship with virtual memory because of the way prices are always dropping. I absolutely hate buying SD Cards for my R4 / R4i at (what seems to be) a crazy bargain price only to see it become 10% cheaper a few weeks later.
