Lots of Beautiful Salad and Fruit today for Auntie Frieda

The Bean Salad looks especially good!!

The Apple Walnut Blintzes are really great!!!

As Are the Cannoli.........

And the Hungarian Chicken with lots of sweet sweet Paprika.

And Of Course, How Could I forget Desserts?

Jack and Paul making waffles..........

Willie and Eddie working on a Banquet today, not just on brunch!

And Junior. What is up with Junior? The Boy did not set his clock ahead and so showed up late for work and got sent home. Maybe he can get some more desperately needed sleep!

By now everyone should have recieved these packages, So I can reveal what it is all about. Captain Keith, of the Wizard, had "Dog Tags" made up at the WWII Visitors center for his crew AND his most Faithful Followers on http://www.crabwizard.com/ . He just needed a little help from CB to get them mailed out. So, NOW, those people not only have a tag that the boys wear on the ship, they have a momento of Dutch Harbor, the WWII visitors center and the Aleutian Island Campaign.

They also have a nice little Certificate and Captain Keith's Autograph. I could not believe that Keith took time out of his VERY BUSY schedule here in Dutch to get them done during that last offload. Very Cool of him!!

The NW should be hitting the Docks in Seattle already today or quite soon. They along with the TB and The Incentive are now done for Opie season. The Wizard should almost be done and the Cornelia Marie should be docking in Dutch On Tuesday.............

........so that Freddie can get back to Vanessa!! (She has missed you big guy!!)

We had a SMALL snowstorn this week that left some snow around for like a day. I really just want ONE more good one before we retire winter to next year!!
And I just love how Eagles Play!! These two were circling each other for a good ten minutes. Fun to watch!

And I finally have my first vacation comeing up at the beginning of next month. I am leaving Dutch on the 4th of April, and will be returning on the 17th. I have a two night layover in Seattle so that I can do some sightseeing, then Home to PA for 11 days then back to Dutch. I have layovers in Seattle, Houston and Cleveland, and am flying into DuBois PA. Let me know if any Followers are around these points and we could maybe meet up for a drink at the Airport or something.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a great Sunday!

The chocolate covered strawberries look delish, made my mouth water! You're cute with the crab claw holding the leg piece! The fruit looks great too, actually all the food looks awesome, making me hungry now - I think I'm going to go find something to cook!

That box of cell phones looked like a headache to deal with!

When you have your times finalized for Houston, let me know; I'll try to maybe take a half day.
Brunch..OMG...the bean salad looks divine and BLINZES! Sigh!
LOL yeah, at first I wondered why I had to call a different cell to reach peeps in Dutch, but it was explained to me.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Keith Colburn is very appreciative of his fans, and he goes out of his way to show it.
I talked to him last night, and they still have one Opie delivery and then a Baradi delivery.
Cheers!

Poor Junior, I forgot the time change too. Luckily, no work for me today. Blintzes look yummy, and all the pics are great.

Enjoy your vacation, but remember not to do anything I wouldn't do...or at least don't get caught doing it on tape.

love the food! Can I get that recipe for the apple walnuts blintzes? Love all the little background shots of the production stuff. Sorta makes us appreciate all the work and effort that goes into making the show! Check your email!

Oh CB! Another fabulous looking brunch! (Oh to really partake!) I think I'll fill my plate with crab and blintzes, and strawberries (...and everything else!)

Capt. Keith is a fantastic guy and he truly does appreciate the people who support him and the crew...and, like Mystic said, goes out of his way to show it!

CB, I wish you were swinging through Birmingham! I'd happily buy you a drink!

I'm grabbing the strawberries and running away. Hopefully you can get some CM pics when she docks.

CB, let me know when you will be in Houston and I will see what I can do. Maybe we can have a "Meet and Greet" with everyone who's interested. Sindee

Yes, that was cool of Keith to make the tags, but I bet he got some help from James, who works at the WWII center. James' Uncle Lenny off the Wizard has LOTS of local connections!

Carlisleboy said...

You are correct Nirvana, James was the one who "punched In" all the tags

Carlisleboy said...

Sounds good Sindee. I'll let you know

Thanks for the shout out, that boat tracker is cool, I hadn't heard of that . . . . and I don't know if it's the diet, but the buffet has never looked better. Let's have a drink at the airport before you leave so I can be the first in your Drinks Across America Tour!
