Wintery Sunday Brunch......Delay due to weather...Eddie, Willie and Junior, Katherine Leaves and Returns, Wii, Sarah, CB Goes to HS, CM and Wizard

A bit late posting Brunch Today, It is Really Stormy up Dutch Harbor way. It goes from this...

........To this.........

........to this....

.......and then back again.

It has been really cold this past week, about the coldest it has been all winter with temps in the Low 20'sF. Part of Margaret Bay is frozen over again, though it is thawing now. Forecast is for snow all this week till Thursday with temps in the High 20'sF to low 30'sF. All the planes got canceled yesterday due to the Blizzard warning. (Yes, I will say this is FINALLY the storm I wanted before spring. It can stop now.) My Public Attendant and I have been running both hotel vans back and forth to the airport dropping off guests that are hoping to get out today. It has pretty much been nonstop from like 9am this morning. We will see if my luck at the airport extends to those I just bring there that I do not "see Off", or bring Emergency Chocolate too....

Now, On to Sunday Brunch!!!

Turf..................?

...And/or Surf?

Rich, The Executive Chef made up this Amazing looking tomato platter that I am sure my Mum would love!! (Everyone did, it got wiped out quickly)

I miss the Pomegranates!! (I know, Wrong Season, but still!!!)

Nice and Spicy........

...Can't tell you what this tastes like. I hate Leeks so I did not even try. Sorry!

But the Smoothies (Another Rich Creation) and desserts were great as always.
(Junior Made up some Strawberry Tarts for you today Dani!!)

Eddie is going back home to the Phillipines for a month on his vacation, and will be missed!! (Fact is my scheduled vacation overlaps his so I only have to be without his PERFECT French Toast and Pancakes for two weeks....yeah, he is THAT good!)

Eddie, Willie and Junior! (What a good way to start Sunday Brunch!)

So, To recap the week

Katherine Left and Came back along with City Council.......

Darryl FINALLY got his Wii

Sarah Palin is Awesome!!

And CB went back to high school for the first of a Five Saturday Excel Class.

See! I do Go over to the Unalaska side Sometimes..............!!!!

And Finally, The Cornelia Marie should be back in the next day or so on their last trip with Opilio. And the Wizard should be just about done with Bardi. Hopefully I will get to see them all before I head out of here on the 4th. Kinda Hard to believe that in a little over two weeks I will be kicking back in Pennsylvania and not having brunch at the Grand!!

Anyway, everyone have a great Sunday!!!

CB

thanks CB, the brunch looks awesome...are you saying your family won't fix you a brunch worthy of being served at the Grande when you arrive home??? Have you had a chance to play the Wii? and I agree Sarah is awesome....

Democrats and Republicians can get along just fine as long as they, and their followers, put aside all the one-upsmanship, backstabbing, and pandering to special interest groups and get on with DOING THIER JOBS!!
Yes Reading My Mum will cook alot when I am home I am sure, But I am really looking forward to our own home cured Ham on Easter!!
I am planning on sending down some Crab and having a Crab Boil one night too.
I actually prefer Strategy games and the Wii does not really have any like that. I have played with it before though over at Alaska Steve's.
And Yes, Sarah Kicks A$$!!!

CB, another great brunch!

As far as the Wii, you've got to try Mario Kart! It's so much fun! Also, there's never been a Legend of Zelda game that hasn't rocked, so give Twilight Princess a spin.

Those strawberry tarts look heavenly and I'm sure they taste better than they look. I woke up at 7am looked out the window and saw the cars in the driveway covered in snow. I went back to bed and woke up again at 10:30 and the sun was out. Its supposed to be 17 tuesday night and 55 wednesday afternoon. That is Upstate NY weather. Do you think Junior would make lemon tarts for us?

Hey Everyone!
I think I picked up a "bug" from either my housekeepers or my one front desk agent. Probably going home to sleep it off after I check e-mail and handle a few things here at work.
Cold here too, (19F) And we picked up a Bunch of snow last night. Just checked the forecast and it is bow saying snow till saturday.

Pitbra8e Funny you should mention lemon. I had a craving yesterday after work and went to the store and got a lemon filled donut and some real lemons to make lemon pepper chicken last night.

Sis!! I need some warm weather for when I get home...start working on that...........lol
