CB's secret Mission........Come on, you KNEW I was up to SOMETHING, Why else would I smirk in so many Photos?

Oh, And Before I forget My bag arrived at 4am this morning!! So all my goodies are now safe with me!!

Carlisleboy was up to something while he was trekking through Europe...........
From Edinburgh Castle..... ........to quiet tree lined country roads......
.........To Major "motorways".....
.......to quiet Country path......
......From the home of Manchester United.......
.......to the War Memorial at Loch Ness......
..........to the Dark Waters of Loch Ness.
What Was I "UP" to you ask?
Simply this. There is NOW a little Piece of Dutch Harbor/Unalaska in all of these Spots and the Rest shown in this post!!! (Oh, and in Loch Ness I went down to the Water and after placing a few sea shells from Unalaska I asked the Monster to come hang out with us if he was sick of the Tourists)
So In the Waters near the Castle on Loch Ness..................................(Pay no mind to the weird Woman behind me, Complained upset stomach the entire boat ride)
.........to the Clootie Well on the Black Isle in Scotland.........
........to the Castle Grounds at Loch Ness.......
......To the City of Inverness......
......To Glasgow.......
.......to the Motorways of Scotland.......
.......To a few "Road Chef" Rest stops all through the UK.......
.......Hidden in my Rental Car..........
.......To the University of Manchester.......
.........at EVERY Torchwood/Doctor Who Site I visited........
......To Cardiff University.........
..........StoneHenge..........
.....Cardiff Bay at my AWESOME HOTEL.............
......Parliment Square and "Big Ben" in London..........
.....Trafalgar Square in London........
......A Quiet little Garden at.........
......Buckingham Palace................
.......The Rebuilt Globe Theatre...........
.......Saint Paul's Cathedral......
.......The Achilles Statue in Hyde Park.........
........In the Siene at Notre Dame..........
.......to the Eiffel Tower..........
......In a fold of the Robe on the back of the Emperor Augustus (My Favorite Sculpture in the world)...........

To the Grounds of the Louve there are now Little Pieces of Dutch Harbor/Unalaska. Now, Every time I see these places on the News or in a show, film, or TV series I can get a little Chuckle as I think of that Little piece of Alaska being there. It's the Gift that keeps on Giving!!!

I have a Literal TON of photos to post about my trip. Can not quite decide how to do it. Should I go Day by day or specific Themes? Let me know!!

You are a hoot! I've been reading your blog for months! That is just awesome. I usually pick up rocks from my jaunts around the world. I never thought to take those from home and leave around on my trips! Keep up the good Unalaska Tourism/Public Relations going!

I like that CB! I usually take a rock back from where I visit. I've got plenty from AK. LOL! I'll have to bring a little piece of Alabama next time. What a neat idea!

As far as posting, anyway you'd like would be fine. :)

the "glass trail" is a great idea. I liked the Achilles Heel statue and the Edinburgh Castle. The trip to Paris was a surprise too.
Hope the Grand survived without you. CD is in Cabo now I am sure you know wonder if she brought sea glass too???

Great idea, CB! Your bag must have weighed a ton on the trip over! So what was your favourite part of the trip? Could you even narrow it down to just one place/day? Get some rest - you've earned it!

I think it's very sweet and very thoughtful and I am honored to be in on the secret.

I quite like the idea of Nessie coming on over to Dutch Harbor. At least it's large enough to stay out of crab pots!

(The mental image of Captains Phil or Sig seeing something like that pop up on his deck is priceless! Edgar would probably make it into some sort of Norwegian soup ... )
