The LONGEST WEEK EVER!!!!! Rain, Rain, Wind and More Rain, Dan's Trek, Japanese Tour, and England.

This is turning out to be the LONGEST WEEK EVER as I count down the days till my trip. The Hours seem to take three times as long and there never seem to be an end to the "Challenges" here at work. Challenges, yeah, that is a good word..... It has not stopped raining for days and we had a nice windstorm last night. Of course my boss Dan is taking his vacation now. He and his wonderful dog Dakota got dropped off on the Far Southwest end of Unalaska Island and are hiking back. You can see his progress here:

It will take like 10-15 days. They seem to be about the half-way mark. If you happen on the site and see a red flag call the Coast Guard right away for the HELP Beacon.

There was a Japanese Tour Group that were docked for several days and CB ended up being one of the van drivers when we had to shuttle 60 of them back to their ship. It was miserable raining that day and just no fun walking back up the gangplank.

Still CB just relax and Dream of the UK................

A trip to England, any plans to head to Ireland in the future. Take lots of pictures for us folks that are stuck on this side of the planet.

My friends in London say it rains all the time, but hey, don't let a silly little thing like rain damper your trip - you're used to it anyway, up there in DH. Let us know about Twitter - will have to go in and "follow you".

Wishes for a beautiful autumn, typically the best season of the year across most of the lower 48 weather wise
