How the Island Looked when I left on Vacation.
Ok, First off, I'm Not naming Names, But Someone forgot to water the island when I was gone and it is turning all Brown. I'm Very Dissapppointed in you all.
Not quite over posting Egypt pictures yet, but I thought I better give a DC update:
The Boats are all rigged out with their cameras and are loading on their final pots for the start of the King Crab Season.
Looks like the NW got some new paint this summer.
Say Hi to Edgar everyone!
The Time Bandit docked next to the Seabrooke, a new boat for this next season.
And the Other New Boat, The Ramblin Rose.................
Which Really does not look all that "Rosy"
Say Hi to Andy Everyone!
Too bad Jonathan was not there so I could get a shot of his newly shorn head! Yup, he cut his hair, very short. Some people did not even recgonize him!
Just look at how Brown the Island got. SHAME ON YOU ALL!!
Ah, THERE is the Wizard!
And it is Docking By CD's Hubbys boat the Stimpson
And Last, but certainly not least in my book, the Cornelia Marie down at the Delta Western Fuel Dock.

can't believe someone forgot to water and all that lovely green is gone..bummer! good luck to the crews...i thought there were contract issues and everyone quit?? what up? loved your vacay pictures by the way.

I fished on the Ramblin Rose when it was brand new. It sure has seen better days, thats for sure!
Such is life dude...don't leave and the island won't be unwatered! We're not as hyper as you!

Thanks for all the great pics of the boats before leaving. Boy, the NW is really "over" flowing with crab pots. Makin' me nervous already. Thanks too for letting us know about the two new boats. Now time to get aquainted with them before April!

Thanks for posting! The Rambling Rose is how I remember most crab boats looking! I'm still not used to how purtified they've gotten for the show. Guys too. Never saw them so clean. lol Yet, I was up there during the Opie derby days so they definitely had less time to shower. ;-)
beautiful pics, i was thinkin of moving up there a year or two ago, but never got there. lol, still wanna do it, and now DC makes me wanna even more. always wanted to crab fish (make the old man proud and such) maybe ill get there someday, but thanks for the pics, they are beutiful.
